Nicolas Meyers

Nicolas Meyers is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in liquid propulsion systems. Currently serving as a Senior Liquid Propulsion Technical Leader at ArianeGroup since March 2018, Nicolas has held several key positions, including Technical Leader for the Prometheus Mk1 Engine and various roles for the Vulcain®️ engine series. Prior to this, Nicolas worked at Safran from June 2007 to February 2018, where responsibilities included Head of Turbopumps Sealings, Bearings & Rotordynamics and Functional Design Authority for a Staged Combustion Rocket Engine Demonstrator. Earlier career highlights include a consultative role at Dassault Systèmes and development work at ONERA, The French Aerospace Lab. Nicolas holds a Doctorate from ONERA, an Engineering degree from ENSTA with a major in Pyrotechnics and Propulsion, and a DEA in Aerodynamics, Combustion, Thermal and Acoustic from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et d'Aérotechnique.
