Ben Pais

Ben Pais has a diverse work experience spanning several industries, including pharmaceuticals, biotech, and medical technology. Their most recent role is as a Consultant, acting as Senior Vice President Clinical Development and Medical Affairs at Ariceum Therapeutics since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant and Interim Manager for Biotech, Pharma, and Medtech companies at SRT-Biomedical starting in February 2022. From January 2022 to June 2022, they were a Consultant, acting as Head Medical, Pharmacovigilance, and Market Access at SatoSea Oncology.

From 2017 to 2022, they were the Founder of Lacidem. Before that, they worked at Ipsen as a Global Development Lead for Radiopharmaceuticals from January 2020 to December 2021.

From 2014 to 2017, they served as the Vice President of Global Medical Affairs at Elekta, where they were responsible for various functions including clinical research, evidence management, KOL management, and medical education. Prior to Elekta, they held a similar role at Nucletron Operations BV from 2012 to 2014.

From 2009 to 2012, Ben Pais worked at Grünenthal Group as the Senior Director for Palexia in Northern Europe and later as the Medical Director for Northern Europe. Ben also worked as the Medical Director for Netherlands at Grünenthal from 2006 to 2008.

Their earlier experiences include working as a Business Unit Manager at Genthon from 2001 to 2006, and as a Product Manager and Medical Advisor at Sanofi-Synthelabo from 1997 to 2001.

Ben Pais completed their education in the field of medicine. Ben first attended the University of Groningen from 1986 to 1992, where they obtained a degree of Drs from the Medical School. Subsequently, they pursued further medical education at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 1992 to 1995, earning an MD degree. In 2019, Ben Pais obtained a certification as a Pharmaceutical Physician from the NVFG (Dutch Association for Pharmaceutical Medicine).
