Elizabeth Smith

Elizabeth Smith has a diverse background in data science and research. Elizabeth'smost recent position was as the Director of Data Science at Arine. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Data Science at Veris Health, where they spearheaded data science efforts for a healthtech startup. Elizabeth also served as a Data Science Health Innovation Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, where they developed AI/ML tools to improve prostate cancer care. Before that, they worked at Orbital Insight as a Staff Data Scientist & Tech Lead, where they created AI/ML-powered geospatial software products. Elizabeth also has experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, where they researched methods to image and analyze cellular features. Elizabeth began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, focusing on characterizing the kinetics of biomolecular interactions.
