Coordinating Scientist Quality Control at Bavarian Nordic

Dr. Stefanie Sarah Valentin has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Dr. Stefanie Sarah began their career as a Praktikant at Loro Parque in 2009. Dr. Stefanie Sarah then worked as a Werkstudent at Bio-Rad Laboratories from 2005 to 2010. In 2012, they had a research internship at Roche.

From 2013 to 2017, Dr. Valentin worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter Immun- und Tumorbiologie at HelmholtzZentrum München. In 2017, they joined Bavarian Nordic and served as a Scientist Vaccine Generation until 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Scientist Quality Control at Bavarian Nordic. Currently, they hold the role of Coordinating Scientist Quality Control at Bavarian Nordic, starting in March 2020.

Dr. Stefanie Sarah Valentin started their education at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in 2005, where they studied to become a Tierarzthelferin (veterinary assistant) until 2007. Dr. Stefanie Sarah then continued their studies at the same university, completing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biology, with a focus on general biology, from 2007 to 2010. Dr. Valentin further pursued their education at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and obtained a Master of Science in Biology, with a specialization in Human Biology and Anthropology, from 2010 to 2012. Dr. Stefanie Sarah continued their academic journey at the university and obtained a doctoral degree, Dr.rer.nat., from the Medical Faculty in 2017. Additionally, Dr. Valentin has obtained several certifications, including Qualitätsmanagement im Laobr from Dr. Battke Scientia GmbH in July 2016, Zertifikat Betriebswirtschaftliche Grundlagen from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in January 2016, a Master-Diplom from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in September 2012, a Bachelor Zertifikat from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in July 2010, and a Helferinnenbrief from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in July 2007.
