Jenny Behan

Jenny Behan has a diverse work experience in the field of pharmacy and healthcare. Jenny is currently working as the Clinical Pharmacist Care Team Lead at Arine since January 2021. Prior to that, they were employed by the Department of Public Health from October 2013 to May 2020, where they worked as a Clinical Pharmacist.

Before joining the Department of Public Health, Jenny worked at Target from July 2012 to July 2014, holding various roles as a Pharmacist, Pharmacist In Charge, and PRN Pharmacist.

Their earlier experiences include working at UCSF as a Teacher Assistant for the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry from March 2010 to June 2012, as well as a Research Associate from June 2010 to April 2012.

Jenny also served as the Vice President and Project Health Disparities Coordinator at the National Pharmaceutical Association, SNPHA UCSF from February 2009 to July 2010. In this role, they organized and conducted free blood pressure screenings and stroke education programs in underserved areas. Jenny also established a regular blood pressure screening clinic at a local Safeway pharmacy and coordinated screenings for senior centers and health fairs. Additionally, they obtained sponsorships from Walgreens, Rite Aid, and AHA for educational materials and screening supplies.

Overall, Jenny Behan has gained extensive experience in clinical pharmacy, teaching, research, and community healthcare initiatives.

Jenny Behan pursued their education by attending San Diego State University from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in the fields of Psychology and Biology. Subsequently, they attended the University of California, San Francisco from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree specializing in Pharmacy.
