Satya Kishore Gontina

Satya Kishore Gontina began their work experience at Intel Corporation in 2008 as a Tech Lead and Software Engineer. Satya Kishore worked there until 2012.

In 2012, Satya co-founded SmartBuildings™, a company focused on energy conservation and management in buildings. Satya Kishore served as the Co-Founder and CTO until 2014.

From 2015 to 2021, Satya was the CEO of EnCloudEn, a company that built hybrid cloud platforms. EnCloudEn was later acquired by Quantum Corp in September 2021. During their time at EnCloudEn, they also held the roles of Co-Founder, CTO, and CPO.

In 2021, Satya joined Quantum as the Director of Product Strategy and continued in that role until 2022.

Currently, Satya is the Head of Engineering at Arintra (YC W22) since December 2022. In this position, they oversee product management and strategy, as well as the secure software development life cycle. Arintra focuses on building explainable deep learning-based natural language processing systems for medical coding.

Satya Kishore Gontina completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Engineering Physics and Electronics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, from 1992 to 2002, they attended Defence Laboratories School, where they completed their High School education.
