Bjarni Ólason

Bjarni Ólason has over 27 years of experience as a system administrator. Bjarni started their career in 1994 at Búnaðarbanki Íslands and worked there until 1997. From 1998 to 2003, they served as a system administrator at Búnaðarbanki Íslands hf. Bjarni then joined Kaupþing Búnaðarbanki hf./KB banki hf./Kaupþing banki hf. and worked there as a system administrator from 2003 to 2008. Bjarni then joined Arion banki hf. in 2008 as a system administrator and held that position until 2016. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Origo Iceland as a system administrator. Currently, they hold the position of Application Administrator at Arion banki hf. since September 2021.

Bjarni Ólason attended Háskóli Íslands from 1989 to 1994, where they studied Electrical Engineering and obtained a degree in C.S. Rafmagsverkfræði. In 1996, they also obtained a certification in Verkfræðingur from Atvinnuvega- og nýsköpunarráðuneyti.
