Gunnar Bjarni Vidarsson

Gunnar Bjarni Vidarsson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Gunnar Bjarni began their professional career as an Analyst (Internship) at Landsbanki in 2002. Gunnar Bjarni then moved on to Deutsche Bank S.A.E. in 2004, where they worked in Private Banking for a year. In 2006, they joined IFS Radgjof as an Analyst and remained there until 2010, gaining valuable experience in financial analysis. Gunnar Bjarni then transitioned to Saga Investment Bank in 2010 and worked as a Capital Markets Specialist until 2011. Gunnar then joined Straumur Investment Bank as a Capital Markets Specialist in 2011, where they further honed their expertise in this field until 2012. Gunnar Bjarni then moved to Virding securities in 2012, initially working in Capital Markets, and later transitioning to Asset Management until 2017. Most recently, they joined Arion banki in 2017, where they initially served as a Senior Economist before taking on the role of Product Manager in September 2019. Throughout their career, Gunnar has proven himself as a dedicated and accomplished professional in the finance industry.

Gunnar Bjarni Vidarsson completed their education at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz from 1997 to 2003, graduating with a diploma in Economics (Diplom-Volkswirt). In addition to their formal education, they also obtained three certifications from Coursera in September 2017. These certifications include "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" and two courses titled "Neural Networks and Deep Learning".
