Ragnheiður Jóhannesdóttir has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Ragnheiður started their career at Íslandsbanki in 1999, where they worked as an HR Assistant for two years before moving on to become a Development Specialist from 2001 to 2004. Ragnheiður then took on the role of Manager - Lending Services from 2004 to 2007.
In 2007, Ragnheiður joined Arion Bank as an Assistant Branch Manager and worked in that position until 2012. During this time, they gained valuable experience in branch operations and customer service.
From 2012 to 2014, Ragnheiður served as a Lean Project Manager at Arion Bank, implementing process improvement initiatives. Ragnheiður then became a Branch Manager from 2014 to 2015, where they were responsible for overseeing branch operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
In 2015, Ragnheiður transitioned to the role of Strategy and Business Development, where they contributed to the bank's strategic planning and growth initiatives. Finally, in 2017, they took on the position of Manager - Customer Experience and Branch Layout, focusing on improving customer satisfaction and optimizing branch layouts.
Throughout their career, Ragnheiður has demonstrated a strong commitment to customer service and has successfully contributed to the growth and development of the banks they have worked for.
Ragnheiður Jóhannesdóttir began their education at Bournemouth University from 1995 to 1997, where they pursued a Higher National Diploma in Tourism and Business. Later, they attended Bifröst University and obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, from 2001 to 2003. In 2006 to 2008, they returned to Bifröst University to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in International Business and Management. During their time as a student, they also took part in an exchange program at Copenhagen Business School in 2007.
