Thorvaldur B.

Thorvaldur B. has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. In 2001, they started their career as a Marketing Representative at Ruko A/S. Thorvaldur then moved on to Skeljungur hf, where they worked as a Retail Operational Manager from 2002 to 2005. In 2005, they joined Sjóvá and held various positions, including Sales and Marketing Manager, Director Underwriting, and Director Business Development.

In 2012, Thorvaldur joined VÍS Insurance Ltd and took on the role of Key Account Manager. Thorvaldur later became the Manager of Corporate Insurances, followed by the Manager of International Operation. From 2020 to 2022, they served as the Manager of 3rd Party Insurance Distribution.

Currently, Thorvaldur is employed at Arion banki as a Senior Account Manager for Corporate Insurances, a position they started in September 2022.

Thorvaldur B. obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration from Háskóli Íslands in 2020-2021. Prior to that, they completed an M.Sc. in Economics & Business Administration (cand. merc.) at Copenhagen Business School from 1999 to 2001. Thorvaldur also holds a B.Sc. in Business, Language and Culture (SPRØK) from Copenhagen Business School, which they earned between 1996 and 1999.
