Jared Sparks

Jared Sparks has extensive work experience in the field of healthcare compliance and quality assurance. Jared most recently served as the Vice President of Quality and Compliance at Arisa Health, where they oversaw a program for 1,000+ employees in multiple counties. Their responsibilities included outcomes management, accreditation, certification, and licensure for clinical sites, compliance investigations, training, and medical records. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Compliance at Arisa Health.

Before joining Arisa Health, Jared worked as a CARF Surveyor at CARF International, conducting program and administrative surveys for organizations accredited under behavioral health and children youth and families standards. Jared also held various roles at Ozark Guidance, including Vice President of Clinical Services and Compliance, Clinical Director & Interim Compliance Officer, Director of Clinical Practices, and Program Coordinator & Clinical Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for clinical services, supervision, compliance, and conformance to accreditation standards.

Jared also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Arkansas School of Social Work.

Jared Sparks holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Work from Tulane University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from The University of Alabama, studying from 1992 to 1994. Jared completed their undergraduate education at The University of Alabama as well, receiving a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from 1987 to 1992. In addition to their academic degrees, Jared has obtained various certifications, including Certified in Healthcare Compliance from the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) in September 2018 and Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) from the Compliance Certification Board (CCB), SCCE & HCCA in October 2018. Jared also holds the licenses of Licensed Certified Social Worker from the Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board, obtained in 2005, and Diplomate in Clinical Social Work from the National Association of Social Workers in 2000.
