Rebecca Alder

Rebecca Alder has over 25 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Rebecca currently serves as the Regional Ombudsman Program Director at ARISE CNY, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Regional Program Coordinator and a Certified Ombudsman at the same company from September 2019 to February 2021.

Before joining ARISE CNY, Rebecca worked as an MLTC Care Coordinator at Nascentia Health from August 2018 to August 2019. From July 2015 to January 2019, they held the position of Member Services Supervisor at the YMCA of Greater New York.

Rebecca also has experience in the non-profit sector, having worked as a Wish Granter at Make-A-Wish America from September 2009 to September 2015. Prior to that, they owned and operated their own small business, Fabulous Designer Finds for Less, from September 2006 to March 2012.

In addition, Rebecca has held marketing and admissions roles at Ardon Courts HCR Manor Care from October 1999 to June 2001, Visiting Nurses of Philadelphia from October 1998 to October 1999, and Access to Independence/WI Partner Program from August 1996 to October 1998.

Rebecca Alder holds a Master of Arts degree in Professional Communications from LaSalle University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing Home Administration/Health Care Management from SUNY Polytechnic Institute, completing their studies from 1993 to 1995. Rebecca also holds an Associate of Science degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Mohawk Valley Community College, which they received from 1990 to 1992. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained the Certified Ombudsman certification from LTCOP in November 2019. Looking towards the future, Rebecca is planning to pursue a Master of Public Administration degree from Empire State University starting in 2023.
