Mark Karen has extensive work experience in the gaming industry. Mark started their career at Sigma Game, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they developed slot machine games and worked on platform development projects. Mark then moved on to Konami Gaming Inc., where they played a key role in establishing the company's USA-based software engineering department. At Bally Technologies, they served as a Sr Technical Lead, leading a team in building a next-generation platform. Mark later joined Cash Systems, Inc. as the Director of Product Development, where they led a team in creating and deploying a web service product. Mark then became the Owner of their own company, SpaghettiGlobe. Currently, Mark holds the position of Senior Vice President of Software Development at Aristocrat, where they have held various leadership roles since 2008, including Vice President, Associate Vice President, and Director of Engineering & Platform Architecture.
