David Mason

David Mason has a comprehensive work experience in various roles and companies. David started their career as a Legislative Assistant for Senator John Warner in 1979 and later served as a Legislative Director for Rep. Tom Bliley. In 1981, they joined the U.S. House of Representatives as Staff Director, where they worked on budget, regulatory, and foreign policy issues. During their time there, they also served as a Legislative Director in the House and Legislative Assistant in the Senate. In 1987, they became a Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Office of the Secretary of Defense/Legislative Affairs. In 1990, they joined The Heritage Foundation as a VP and later became a Commissioner at the Federal Election Commission in 1998, a position they held until 2008. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Visiting Fellow at The Heritage Foundation. In 2010, they joined Aristotle as the Senior Vice President of Compliance Services, and currently serves as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Throughout their career, they have also been involved with the Knights of Columbus as a member and served as a committee member for Arlington Republicans.

David Mason attended Concord Law School at Purdue University Global from 2006 to 2009, where they earned their JD degree in Law with highest honors. Prior to that, from 1977 to 1979, they attended Claremont McKenna College, where they obtained a BA degree in Political Science.
