Dean Zhao

Dean Zhao has a diverse work experience in the engineering and automation industry. Dean began their career in 2006 as an Engineering Graduate Trainee at ABB Engineering, where they received intensive training in robot operation and programming. Dean then worked as a Project Engineer, overseeing projects in Renault Turkey and Nissan India. In 2009, Dean became an Overseas Project Manager at ABB Engineering, leading a team in a Volks Wagen project in India.

In 2011, Dean joined Comau (Shanghai) Engineering Co. Ltd. as a Project Manager, specializing in powertrain solutions for metal cutting, assembly, and testing. Dean played a pivotal role in the successful completion of the BBAC/Daimler Benz M274 Phase II engine assembly project.

Dean's career progressed further in 2014 when they joined KUKA Systems GmbH as a Senior Project Manager, managing the engine assembly project for Volvo's pilot plant and BMW Brilliance Automotive's Bx8 cylinder head assembly line.

In 2016, Dean became the General Manager at Suzhou Hongmao Automation technology Co., Ltd, where they were responsible for team building, business development, and customer relations with major automotive companies such as Chang'An, Hanteng, Geely, Dongfeng Nissan, and CFME.

Most recently, Dean served as the Director of Operations at Aritex China, overseeing all business sectors of the company, including the automotive, aeronautic, and general industries. Dean was responsible for engineering, specifically in the mechanical and automation fields. Dean's work experience demonstrates a strong track record in leadership, project management, team building, and business development within the engineering and automation industry.

Dean Zhao earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1999-2003. Dean later pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical and Electronics from the same university from 2003-2006. Dean Zhao also holds a certification in Project Management (PMP) from PMI-OC Project Management Institute Orange County Chapter.
