Michael Wurster has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michael began their career at Getty Images in 1999 as a Digital Department Supervisor and Project Manager, where they managed digital imaging and project managed large-scale publishing orders. In 2000, they joined Scientific American as an Online Product Manager, responsible for product development, revenue, business strategies, audience retention, and product marketing. Michael then worked at Macmillan in 2010 as a Digital Marketing Consultant, focusing on improving customer experience and implementing a marketing automation program. In the same year, they joined Arizent, where they first served as a Project Manager, Digital Design & Product, overseeing projects and technical product management. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Product and Platform Operations at Arizent, where they oversee platform integrations for various aspects of the business and product development. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated exceptional ability to understand challenges and opportunities, create strategic solutions, and collaborate with various teams.
Michael Wurster has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Binghamton University. In addition, they have an Associate of Arts degree in Mathematics from Dutchess Community College. Michael also holds a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification, which they obtained in August 2018 from the Scrum Alliance.
