Amanda Santimaw

Amanda Santimaw has extensive experience in the field of clinical research. Amanda began their career as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant II/Phlebotomist at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center in 2005. In 2007, they transitioned to the role of Phlebotomist at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Xenoscience, 21st Century Neurology. In 2010, Amanda joined Arizona Arthritis and Rheumatology Research, PLLC as a Clinical Research Coordinator. Amanda later became a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator at Arizona Research Center in 2011. Amanda then returned to Arizona Arthritis and Rheumatology Research, PLLC and served as the Quality Assurance Officer from 2012 to 2013. Finally, they assumed the position of Director of Clinical Research at the same company in September 2013.

Amanda Santimaw earned a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a focus on Psychology and Biology, from Arizona State University from 2004 to 2006. Amanda then pursued a Master's degree in Clinical Research Management from the Arizona State University - Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation, completing their studies from 2011 to 2013.

In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the CITI Good Clinical Practice Course from the CITI Program in January 2022. In May 2019, they received the certification of Clinical Research Contract Professional (CRCP) from Model Agreements & Guidelines International (MAGI). Amanda also earned the designation of Certified Clinical Research Coordinator from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals in 2013. Furthermore, they gained expertise in Infusion Therapy through the Certified Venous Access Specialists in 2009 and obtained certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) from the Maricopa Community Colleges in January 2006. Additionally, they received training in Phlebotomy from the Certified Venous Access Specialists in 2003.
