Joseph Durkin

Joseph Durkin is an experienced business educator and corporate chaplain with a diverse professional background. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Business at both Arizona Christian University and Ottawa University Arizona, Joseph also holds the position of Corporate Chaplain at Marketplace Chaplains. Previously, Joseph operated as a business advisor, broker, mentor, and investor from 2005 to 2022, specializing in helping business owners achieve optimal sales outcomes. As the owner and Executive Director of the John Robert Powers Modeling and Acting School from 1992 to 2005, Joseph managed franchise operations and significantly increased revenue and profitability while earning multiple awards. Earlier career experience includes serving as an attorney in private practice and civil litigation. Joseph holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, a B.S. in Commerce from DePaul University, and various certifications, including mediation skills and grant writing.
