Aaron Golamb

Aaron Golamb has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Aaron is currently working as a Sr. Information Security Analyst at the State of Arizona. Prior to this, they served as a Senior System Administrator at the Arizona Department of Revenue, where they provided tier 2 and 3 desktop support and remediated security vulnerabilities.

Before that, Aaron worked as a Remote Support Analyst at Charles Schwab, where they provided Tier 1 phone support for internal employees and troubleshooted software usage problems. Aaron also worked as a Technical Analyst I at Discount Tire Co, where they were responsible for onboarding and offboarding employee systems.

Aaron has also held the role of System Administrator at Northsight Management, where they administered 80 employee computers and managed Active Directory users and computers. Aaron started their career as a Support Tech at the Tempe Union High School District, providing support for the entire district and performing lab maintenance and hardware repairs.

Aaron later worked as a Systems Analyst - CTE at the same district, where they procured and developed IT solutions for classrooms. Aaron also worked as a Site Support Specialist at Benedictine University, providing support for the Benedictine Mesa campus.

Prior to that, they served as an IT Support Specialist at Scottsdale Unified School District, providing network and desktop support for multiple school locations. Aaron began their career as a Customer Support Engineer at Xerox, where they performed hardware troubleshooting and software installations for printers/copiers.

Aaron Golamb is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Applied Cyber Security from the SANS Technology Institute, with an expected completion date in 2024. Aaron has also completed various certifications in the field of cybersecurity, including GIAC GSEC, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), and GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT) from GIAC Certifications. In addition, Aaron has certifications in Cybersecurity Essentials and Introduction to Cybersecurity from Cisco, as well as CompTIA A+ certified. Prior to their higher education, they studied Computer and Information Systems Security or Information Assurance at Rio Salado College. Aaron also holds certifications in Microsoft Office Specialist, specifically in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 2013.
