The Arizona Department of Water Resources defends and enhances Arizona’s water supplies, assuring water certainty, economic prosperity and quality of life now and for future generations. The Department’s duties include protecting Arizona’s rights to the Colorado River, as well as ensuring the health and reliability of its in-state surface water resources and its underground aquifers.
