Player Personnel Analyst at Arizona Diamondbacks

Jake Greenberg has a diverse work experience in the field of baseball analytics. Jake started in 2019 with the Tampa Bay Rays as a TrackMan/KinaTrax Stringer, where they independently created metrics for evaluating umpire-adjusted catcher pitch framing using machine learning. Jake was responsible for setting up rosters and tagging information for the Rays' minor league affiliate, the Hudson Valley Renegades. Jake also collected biomechanical KinaTrax data remotely for the Rays' minor league affiliates and performed various game-related tasks. In 2021, they worked for the Detroit Tigers as a Baseball Analytics Associate, and later joined the Arizona Diamondbacks as a Player Personnel Analyst. Previously, Jake worked as a writer for PitcherList from 2018 to 2021.

Jake Greenberg attended Horace Greeley High School from 2013 to 2017. Jake then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Macalester College from 2017 to 2021.
