Lalo Alcaraz is a prominent artist and cultural consultant with extensive experience in animation, radio, and comic art. Currently serving as an Artist In Residence at Arizona State University and Jefe In Chief at both Pocho Villa Productions and Pocho.com, Lalo has been a cartoonist for the nationally syndicated comic strip La Cucaracha since 2002. Lalo's work as a cultural consultant includes contributions to Pixar's Academy Award-winning film "COCO" and Nickelodeon's Latino-themed animated series "The Casagrandes." Additional noteworthy roles include writer and consulting producer for Fox's animated series "Bordertown" and hosting a weekly radio show, The Pocho Hour of Power, on KPFK 90.7 FM. Lalo holds a Master of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art from San Diego State University.
