Maria Anguiano serves as the Executive Vice President of Learning Enterprise and Senior Vice President of Strategy at Arizona State University since August 2018. Anguiano holds significant leadership roles within the University of California system, including Vice Chair of the UC Regents since June 2017. In addition, Anguiano is a board member for the KIPP Foundation, The James Irvine Foundation, and the Campaign for College Opportunity, all since 2020, 2016, and 2019, respectively. Previous positions include Chief Financial Officer at Minerva Project, where responsibilities spanned financial and regulatory operations globally, and CFO & Vice Chancellor of Planning and Budget at the University of California, Riverside, focusing on budget administration and resource management. Anguiano also contributed as Deputy Chief of Staff to the President of the University of California and as Senior Advisor at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Econ-Accounting and Spanish from Claremont McKenna College.
