Office Manager -USAID Program(Yemen) at ARK

Ammar B. has extensive work experience in various financial roles within international organizations. ᗩᗰᗰᗩᖇ started in 2014 as a Finance and HR Assistant at ADRA International in Yemen. In 2014, they also worked as a Cashier at International Medical Corps before being promoted to Financial Assistant in 2015. From 2016 to 2017, they served as a Finance Officer at International Medical Corps in Yemen.

In 2017, Ammar joined Oxfam as a Finance Officer in Yemen and later became a Senior Finance Officer from 2018 to 2019. ᗩᗰᗰᗩᖇ then moved to Oxfam Iraq as a Senior Finance Officer from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, they joined Global Communities as a Grants Manager for the USAID Program in Yemen and later transitioned to Finance Manager from 2019 to 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they held the position of Senior Finance Manager at Global Communities for the USAID Program in Yemen.

In 2022, Ammar B. became an Office Manager for the USAID Program in Yemen at ARK. Throughout their career, they have gained valuable financial and managerial experience within the international development sector.

Ammaar B. has a diverse education history spanning over a decade. In 2008, they enrolled at Aden University in Yemen, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering. ᗩᗰᗰᗩᖇ successfully completed their degree in 2013.

During their time at Aden University, Ammaar B. also attended New Horizons Institute in 2013 to further enhance their skills in CompTIA A+.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Ammaar B. pursued a diploma in Accounting and Finance at YWCD & YCDF Institute in 2014.

In 2015, they attended International Medical Corps, where they focused on Humanitarian Security.

Continuing their commitment to professional development, Ammaar B. engaged in various training programs. In 2017, they underwent training in the HELIOS System conducted by Oxfam GB. The following year, they received training in Cash Transfer Programming – The Fundamentals from CaLP. Additionally, in 2018, they completed training in Safeguarding Awareness through the UN Standards program offered by Oxfam GB.

In 2019, they attended Strategic Edge International for Violent Environment Preparedness Training (VEPT).

More recently, in 2021, Ammaar B. participated in the Personal Safety and Security program offered by Disaster Ready, in collaboration with Save the Children and CSOD Foundation.

Their education history reflects a diverse range of academic pursuits and professional training, showcasing their commitment to continuous learning and development.
