Jaime Fins

Jaime Fins has a long and varied work experience. Jaime began their career in 2008 as a Multimedia Teacher at Colégio Novo da Maia. In 2011, they co-founded No3xit and served as Tech Lead and Project Manager. From 2013 to 2014, they worked at Universidade do Porto as a Serious Games Developer and Gamification Designer. In 2016, they held the role of Digital Media Generalist at Clothes and Company and Public Relations Officer at Tecmaia Toastmasters Club. In 2017, they were a Digital Media Consultant at ForBabiesBrain by Clementina. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Researcher at Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, studying how brands can use Immersive Virtual Reality for promotion. Since 2018, they have been a Professor at Instituto Politécnico da Maia - IPMAIA. In 2021, they joined Arkadium as Senior Software Engineer and Engineering Manager.

Jaime Fins obtained a Technological Course of Informatics (High School) from Escola Secundária Rocha Peixoto between 1997 and 2000. Jaime then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Digital Media from Universidade da Maia - UMAIA from 2001 to 2005. During this time, they also obtained a CCP - Pedagogical Certificate from Ministério da Segurança Social e do Trabalho in September 2005. Finally, they received a Master's degree in Multimedia from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto in 2011.
