Maria Ines Garcia Palombo

Maria Ines Garcia Palombo has a strong background in finance and accounting with extensive experience in various roles. Maria Ines started their career in 2003 as an Assistant at PwC, where they gained experience in auditing and financial statement preparation. In 2005, they joined Safra Group as an Analyst, where they focused on preparing financial statements for private banks, companies, and investment funds within the group. Maria Ines also provided support to external auditors and was responsible for custody control.

In 2009, Palombo joined Banque J. Safra Sarasin (Luxembourg) SA as a Senior Analyst. Maria Ines was involved in the registration and preparation of monthly balances and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Maria Ines also played a crucial role in calculating the Net Asset Value of funds managed by the Safra Group and reconciling it with the Back Office.

In 2014, Palombo became a Senior Accountant at Safra Group, where they were responsible for preparing monthly balance sheets for the head office branch of the group. Maria Ines also prepared management reports for directors and audited annual financial statements.

In 2016, Palombo took on the role of CFO at Arkano Software, where they were responsible for financial oversight and managing the financial well-being of the company. In 2019, they transitioned to the role of COO, taking on additional responsibilities in operations. Currently, Palombo serves as the Acting CEO of Arkano Software, overseeing the company's overall operations and strategic direction.

Maria Ines Garcia Palombo obtained their Certified Public Accountant degree from Universidad de la República, specializing in Banca y servicios financieros. Maria Ines attended the university from 2001 to 2008.
