Alexandra Benton

Alexandra Benton has a diverse work experience. Alexandra most recently worked at the Arkansas Attorney General's office as the Deputy Attorney General & Director of the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs. Prior to that, they held the position of Assistant Attorney General & Director of the same office. Alexandra also worked as a Counselor & Deputy Director at America Strong & Free, and in the Office of Governor Asa Hutchinson, specifically in the Boards & Commissions department. Alexandra has legal experience as an Associate Attorney at Blair & Stroud, and as a Law Clerk at Snider & Horner, PLLC. Alexandra also gained practical experience as a Student Attorney at the Elder Law Clinic - Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Additionally, they served in leadership positions at the University of Arkansas Panhellenic Executive Board, including as the Panhellenic President and Vice President of Public Relations.

Alexandra Benton completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Relations & Advertising at the University of Arkansas, attending from 2012 to 2016. Alexandra then pursued their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law at the University of Memphis, from 2016 to 2019. In 2018, they also participated in a Summer Study Abroad program at the University of Cambridge, focusing on International Law and Legal Studies.
