Mirza Begovic

Mirza Begovic, PharmD, MBA, currently serves as the Manager of Medicare Pharmacy Operations at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield since April 2024. Previously, Mirza held the position of Pharmacy Benefit Account Director at HealthTrust Performance Group from May 2023 to April 2024 and worked as a Clinical Pharmacist in Government Programs for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas from July 2019 to May 2023. Mirza began a career in pharmacy as a Resident Pharmacist at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska from July 2018 to July 2019, where responsibilities included managing high-cost specialty medication claims and developing medical policies. Prior experience includes serving as Product Manager at Biotix from August 2012 to May 2018, leading OEM account management and product design efforts. Mirza earned a Doctor of Pharmacy and a Master of Business Administration from Creighton University, in addition to a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a Chemistry minor from Texas Christian University.
