Senior Vice President For Advocacy And Administration at Arkansas Farm Bureau

Matt King has a diverse work experience in the agricultural and government sectors. Matt began their career with the USDA in 2002, where they served as a Market Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for managing the international balance sheets for soybeans, meal, and oil. Matt also covered oilseed trade and production in the Western Hemisphere. In 2007, Matt joined the Arkansas Farm Bureau, initially assuming the position of Director of Market Information and Economics. Matt subsequently advanced to the role of Director of Public Affairs and Government Relations before being appointed as the Senior Vice President for Advocacy and Administration in June 2021.

Matt King attended Arkansas State University from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business and Management. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Arkansas from 2001 to 2003, graduating with a Masters of Science degree in Agricultural Economics.
