Brad Mayfield

Brad Mayfield is an experienced surgeon and medical leader with a notable career spanning over two decades. Since July 2007, Brad has served as the Surgeon and Chief Medical Officer at Chicot Memorial Medical Center, also holding the position of Chief of Medical Staff. Additionally, Brad is an instructor for Advanced Trauma Life Support since March 2018 and serves as a Board Member for the Arkansas Tobacco Control Board since November 2014. As a Physician Advisor for the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care since 2010, responsibilities include reviewing inpatient stays and assessing medical necessity. Prior surgical experience includes roles at Ozark General Surgery, PA, and Surgical Associates, Inc. Educational credentials include a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, complemented by relevant training at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
