John Peterson

John (J. L.) Peterson, MBA, possesses extensive experience in education, particularly in teaching and coordinating Spanish programs. Currently serving as the Concurrent Liaison for High-School Spanish at Arkansas State University Three Rivers since January 2017, John facilitates communication between high-school teachers and maintains academic standards for university-level courses. As a Spanish Instructor at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff since August 2011, John has created a study abroad program and integrates technology to enhance student engagement. Additional adjunct positions at various institutions have reinforced John’s commitment to fostering critical thinking and language acquisition through innovative instructional methods. John holds an MBA from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, a Master of Arts in Spanish, and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish with a minor in Linguistics from the University of Central Arkansas.
