In 1999, Carlos earned a BSc in Industrial Robotics from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional. Carlos has also obtained additional certifications, including being a SNI Candidato a Investigador Nacional from CONACyT in 2009 and being Green Belt certified by General Electric.
