Barry Crane

Barry Crane is an experienced professional with a diverse background in database administration and education. As an Adjunct Professor at Arkansas Tech University since January 2012, Barry Crane teaches SQL Fundamentals, Oracle and Unix Automation and Encryption, Data Modeling, and Big Data Analytics. In addition, Barry Crane serves as the Senior Manager of Database Administrators at Acxiom, leading a team of 22 DBAs and managing over 400 databases, including various systems such as Cassandra, Oracle, and MS SQL Server. Prior experience includes roles as an IT Specialist at SAIC and Entergy, providing IT support at Arkansas Nuclear One from 1991 to 2000. Barry Crane holds a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Missouri State University.
