Maarten van Den Boom

Maarten Van Den Boom has over two decades of experience at Arkema, currently serving as Technisch Manager and Operations Manager, overseeing production and maintenance. Previously, Maarten held the position of Process Technology Manager, leading the Process Engineering and Quality Control Department while being part of the management team in Vlissingen, and served as Demand Manager, effectively managing the supply chain across multiple plants in the Netherlands and France. Starting as a Production Engineer at Arkema Vlissingen from 1998 to 2000 and earlier as a Process Engineer, Maarten has built a solid foundation in chemical production. Academically, Maarten holds a Master's degree in Process and Product Design and an Ir degree in Chemical Technology from Eindhoven University of Technology, complemented by ongoing internal training in Lean 6 Sigma with a Green Belt certification.
