Kelly also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Texas at Arlington, with a major in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies (Biomedical Engineering) and minors in Chemistry, French, and Anthropology.

In terms of additional certifications, Kelly obtained a Manufacturing Process Control I certification from MITx on edX in October 2020. Kelly also received an edX Verified Certificate for Supply Chains for Manufacturing: Capacity Analytics from MITx on edX in the same month and year. Furthermore, Kelly has a Yoga Instructor Certification - Level I from Yogali, obtained in August 2020.
