Birgitte Hansen

Birgitte Hansen is an experienced architect with a professional background that spans over 16 years. Currently serving as an Arkitekt at Arkitema since May 2021, Birgitte previously held similar positions at NOVA5 arkitekter from November 2013 to May 2021 and Sahl Arkitekter from March 2007 to July 2013. Additionally, Birgitte participated in an open idea competition in 2009, securing a 3rd prize. Birgitte started the architectural journey as an intern at Arkitektfirmaet C.F. Møller from September 2005 to January 2006. Academically, Birgitte holds a Cand. arch degree in Architecture from Arkitektskolen Aarhus (2001-2007) and has pursued additional education at the University at Buffalo and Krabbesholm Højskole. Early education includes studies at Svendborg Handelsskole and Svendborg Gymnasium.
