Nathan Townsend

Nathan Townsend has a wealth of experience in the energy and finance industries, as well as in the fields of mechanical engineering and project management. From 2011 to 2019, they held various roles in different companies. In 2011, they were a Project Maintenance Coordinator at Earthmoving Mechanical Solutions. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Diesel Mechanic at Earthmoving Maintenance Solutions. During this same time, they also travelled as an Explorer. In 2013, they became a Mechanical Fitter for Big Bore Piping at Bechtel Oil, Gas, & Chemicals. Nathan then moved up to Leading Hand roles in the same company, first in Punchlisting - Piping, then in Mechanical Fitting - Big Bore Piping. In 2016, they returned to Bechtel as a Systems Pressure Tester. In 2015, they became the Founding Director of Jetovator Australia, and in 2018, they co-founded BlockProperty and became a Partner at PT Capital. Project Finance. Finally, in 2019, they co-founded Arkon Energy and became the company's Co-Founder & COO.

Nathan Townsend has a varied educational background. In 2018, they obtained a Real Estate Certificate from REIQ in the field of Property Sales & Management. In 2015, they completed a Certificate III in Micro Business Operations from TAFE Queensland in the field of Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, they obtained an Instructor Trainer certificate from Jetovator Training Program - Jetovator Australia in the field of Hydroflight. In 2005-2006, they attended Tabor Christian College. Nathan is also currently enrolled in Professional Helicopter Services and is working towards a Commercial Pilots Licence - Helicopter (CPL-H) in the field of Pilot - Commercial Helicopter. Additionally, they obtained a Duolingo Spanish Fluency: Elementary (Estimated) certification from Duolingo in September 2015.
