Steve Schoemaker

Steve Schoemaker has a wealth of experience in the energy sector. Steve began their career in 1993 at ExxonMobil, where they held various roles. In 2000, they joined Hansen Yuncken Pty Ltd as Design Manager / PM (Specialist Services) for the Adelaide Airport New Terminal Project. In 2003, they moved to Santos Ltd, where they held roles such as Concept Manager, FEED Area Manager - Roma, Project Manager - Definition, Projects Manager - GLNG Upstream Surface Facilities, LNG Plant In-Country Manager, Project Manager Port Development GLNG, Project Manager Pipeline and Infrastructure GLNG, Project Manager - Coiled Tubing UB Drilling & Unconventional Gas Program, Operations Support Improvement Coordinator, and Engineering and Construction Alliance Coordinator. In 2018, they joined BHP as Principal Studies and Project Manager. Most recently, in 2022, they became Chief Project Officer at Arkon Energy.

Steve Schoemaker attended the University of Adelaide from 1988 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) with Honors 1st Class in the field of Engineering.
