Juliet Reed-Birks

Juliet Reed-Birks has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Juliet started their career at Hobbs Ltd, where they served as a Customer Service Team Leader from 2010 to 2012, overseeing the customer service and ecommerce teams.

In 2015, Juliet joined Christ the King College as Head of Drama, a role they held until 2020. Additionally, they served as a Drama Teacher and KS3 Coordinator English during their time at the college.

In 2018, Juliet moved to Oasis Community Learning and took on various roles, including Curriculum Leader for the Arts and Curriculum Leader for Performing Arts/Head of Year 7 and Transition/Regional Network Lead.

In 2020, they joined United Learning as a Lead Practitioner/Professional Mentor, and later took on the positions of Assistant Principal for Teaching and Learning and ITT, as well as Associate Vice Principal for Behaviour and Attendance.

Most recently, in 2023, Juliet joined Ark as a Vice Principal, overseeing Student Entitlement and Learning.

Juliet Reed-Birks completed their undergraduate education at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama from 2004 to 2007, earning a BA Hons Theatre Practice degree with 1st class honors. Juliet'sfield of study focused on directing, producing, and creating theatre. In 2013 to 2014, they pursued a PGCE in Pedagogy and Practice at the University of Sussex, specializing in secondary education and teaching. Later, from 2018 to 2020, they attended the University of Portsmouth to acquire a PGCert in Educational Leadership and Management, again specializing in secondary education and teaching. Additionally, they pursued further studies in senior leadership at the IOE - UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society, earning an NPQSL degree (current status).
