Phil Evans

Phil Evans is an experienced professional in process engineering and management, currently serving as Head of Process Technical at Arla Foods Ingredients since November 2024. Prior roles include Group Process Technical Manager and Process Technical Manager at Volac International Ltd, where Phil focused on whey process development, design, and technical project management. With a background as a Senior Process Technologist at Fonterra, Phil managed national process improvement projects and served as a technical expert in membrane separation processes. Phil holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bath and has a strong foundation in engineering, having also attained a Master of Engineering in Recycling Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biochemical Engineering from Swansea University.
