Mohamed Hussein

Mohamed Hussein is an accomplished operational excellence professional with extensive experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and production management. Currently serving as the Operational Excellence Senior Manager at Arla Foods since April 2021, Mohamed is responsible for embedding continuous improvement strategies to enhance business performance. Previously, at Kellogg Company, responsibilities included deploying the Kellogg Work System to elevate quality, safety, cost, and delivery metrics. Mohamed's earlier roles at General Motors involved leading Kaizen initiatives and driving productivity improvements as a Production Section Head and Global Lean Coach. Additional experience includes positions at Universal Group, Bedaya Stationery, and Pro-Plast, where continuous improvement methodologies and operational efficiencies were key focuses. Mohamed holds an MBA from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, along with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Production Engineering.
