Poonam Gawde is an experienced HR professional with a diverse background in talent acquisition and human resources management. Currently serving as HR Business Partner and Regional Talent Acquisition Manager for Arla Foods in the UAE, Poonam leads end-to-end recruitment for the MENA subsidiary and drives internal talent mobility. Prior roles include Talent Acquisition Specialist at Abbott Healthcare, where responsibilities encompassed managing the recruitment process for the Middle East, Africa, and Pakistan, as well as developing talent pipelines and internship programs. Career foundations were established at Burckhardt Compression India Pvt Ltd, where Poonam held positions as Associate Manager and Assistant Manager in Human Resources, and started in the hospitality sector at ITC Hotels as a Banquet Sales Coordinator. Poonam holds a PGDM in Business Design and Human Resources from the Welingkar Institute of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from the Institute of Hotel Management.
