Lourdes Morales

Lourdes Morales is a business consultant who has worked with a variety of organizations to promote economic development. Lourdes began their career as an AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteer Coordinator with the Lourdes'spanic Committee of Virginia. In this role, they recruited and trained volunteers to work with low-income families on issues related to economic development. From there, they transitioned to working directly with small businesses as a coach and trainer with the Latino Economic Development Center. In their current role with Arlington Economic Development, Lourdes provides consulting services to businesses and helps connect them with resources in the community. Lourdes also works with the Greater Washington Lourdes'spanic Chamber of Commerce to promote economic opportunities for Lourdes'spanic-owned businesses.

Lourdes Morales has completed a Leadership Arlington program from the Leadership Center for Excellence, a marketing certificate from Georgetown University, and a strategic online marketing program from UC Berkeley Extension. Lourdes also has a BA in marketing from Universidad Rafael Landívar and is certified in public management from The George Washington University.
