Sonia Black

Sonia Black is a seasoned consultant in Records and Information Management with extensive experience, currently serving at Sable Consulting since November 2019. As a part-time lecturer in Records Management at the Department of Library and Information Studies at the University of the West Indies since January 2012, Sonia Black shares their expertise with students. Additionally, involvement with ARMA International spans from 1996 to the present, where Sonia Black has taken on roles as a member and director. Previously, Sonia Black was the Campus Records Manager at the University of the West Indies from May 1994 to August 2019. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Business from the University of New Orleans (2000-2001), a Certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of Technology, Jamaica (1991-1993), and a BA Hons. and Diploma in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies (1984-1988).
