Charlie Smith

Charlie Smith, CPA, MBA has extensive work experience in the field of accounting and finance. Charlie currently holds the position of VP of Accounting and Controller at Armanino LLP, a role they have been in since October 2023. Prior to this, Charlie worked at Equinox from 2013 to 2023, where they held various roles including VP of Accounting and Controller, Assistant Controller, Director of Accounting, and Senior Manager of Accounting. During their tenure at Equinox, Charlie successfully project managed an ERP implementation and led a team of 25+ individuals. Before joining Equinox, Charlie worked at Foot Locker, Inc from 2007 to 2013, where they served as Manager of Financial Reporting and Manager - Risk Management Finance. Charlie also gained experience as a Financial Analyst in the banking industry. Overall, Charlie has a strong background in financial reporting, accounting management, and team leadership.

Charlie later pursued an MBA in Public Accounting from Pace University - Lubin School of Business, graduating in 2011. Additionally, they obtained their CPA certification from the New York State in 2012 and their MBA certification from Pace University - Lubin School of Business in 2011.
