Fred Bastie

Fred has more than 30 years of public accounting experience. He serves as our national tax leader of high net worth families and their operating companies with a focus in this area. He has deep expertise in real estate, estate and gift, partner taxation, and merger and acquisitions.

Before joining Armanino, Fred founded and led Fred J. Bastie & Associates, where his general business sense, industry experience and creativity provided clients with an unmatched level of high-quality service. He began his career with Deloitte, Haskins, & Sells (Deloitte), where he attained the position of tax manager. While at Deloitte, Haskins, & Sells, he was designated as an industry specialist in real estate taxation, partnership taxation, and estate and gift tax. He also worked with some of the largest Dallas-based companies and their key executives.

Fred graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
