Adan Arizmendi

Adan Arizmendi has a diverse work experience spanning various fields. In 2019, they worked as a Summer Researcher at the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD), conducting research at the Fundación Instituto Leloir in Buenos Aires, Argentina. They then joined Building Infrastructure Leading to Diversity (BUILD) as an Undergraduate Student Researcher in the Chemistry and Biochemistry department at CSULB from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, Adan worked as a GC Analyst for PCBs/Pesticides at Advanced Technology Laboratories before joining PerkinElmer, Inc. as an Associate RNA Extraction Technician and later as a Clinical Data Analysis and Results Technologist. In their most recent role, Adan is currently a Research Associate in Analytical Development at Armata Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Adan Arizmendi pursued their education at California State University, Long Beach from 2015 to 2020. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, General. In June 2018, Adan also acquired a certification in Biomedical Responsible Conduct of Research from the CITI Program.
