Yasir Hanafy

Yasir Hanafy has a long and varied work experience. Yasir is currently the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Executive Consultant for Armature Systems, a role they have held since 2021. Prior to that they were the Acting Chief Financial Officer for Maxar Technologies in 2020. Before that, they were with SSL (Space Systems Loral) from 2000-2020, where they held various roles including Senior Director Sales & Program Finance, Director of Operations Finance, Financial Forecasting & Special Projects Director, Repeater Subsystem Organization Business Manager, Program Business Manager, Senior Profit Analyst Specialist, Senior Cash Flow Analyst, and Functional Financial Analyst. In their role as Senior Profit Analyst Specialist, they tracked overall financial positions for all company satellites and helped prepare company financial statements. Yasir also worked directly with the CFO to prepare a company financial model with the ability to forecast profit positions, cash flow, and financial statements through 2013. As Senior Cash Flow Analyst, they monitored, analyzed, and forecast company Cash Flow, and implemented tools which increased forecast accuracy by over 100%. Yasir also implemented a 13 week detailed cash flow forecasting tool. As Functional Financial Analyst, they supported a functional organization of over 400 people in cost management and tracking, as well as supported the groups proposal efforts for new business and implemented more efficient cost management tools by monitoring manpower allocation at the micro level.

Yasir Hanafy attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 1995 to 2000, where they earned a BA in Business Economics, a BS in Business/Managerial Economics, and a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics.
