Bhavani Castro

Bhavani de Castro Fonseca Soares has an extensive background in research and coordination within the fields of international relations and security, particularly focusing on the Asia-Pacific and Latin America regions. Currently serving as Regional Desk Coordinator at ACLED since April 2018, Bhavani has held multiple roles within the organization, including Research Desk Coordinator and South America Research Manager. Previous experiences include a research fellowship with FGV, a volunteer position at Fundación Motiva, and internships at Delhi Policy Group and Itau-Unibanco. Bhavani's academic credentials include a Master's degree in International Security from Sciences Po and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
