Riley Hinklin

Riley Hinklin is a US Researcher at the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED) since August 2023, following a role as a Temporary Outreach Assistant at the School for International Training. Hinklin has extensive experience in urban planning and design through an internship with the Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities, where responsibilities included organizing data collection and analyzing accessibility. Previous positions include Research Intern at World Without Genocide, GIS Student Worker at Macalester College, and Conflict Resolution Intern at The Carter Center, showcasing a strong background in GIS, research, and conflict analysis. Hinklin holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution, alongside a Graduate Certificate in Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention from the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution, and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Geography from Macalester College.
